Deleting your Facebook data

Businesses using Occanovo can connect their Facebook page so that leads from their Facebook and Instagram lead ads arrive in their Occanovo workspace. This page explains what that connection keeps and how to remove it.

What Occanovo keeps from Facebook

About the page

The page name and number, which workspace it is connected to, who connected it and when. An access key for the page, encrypted before it is stored. Occanovo never stores a person's own Facebook login.

About each lead

The answers the person gave in the lead form, such as name, email, phone and any other questions, saved as a lead in that business's workspace, with the Facebook lead number and whether it came from Facebook or Instagram.

If you are a business that connected a page

Remove the connection

Disconnect in two steps

  1. In OccanovoOpen Integrations, then Facebook and Instagram lead ads, and press Disconnect. Occanovo stops receiving leads from the page straight away, deletes its encrypted access key and removes itself from the page.
  2. In Facebook, if you want to be thoroughGo to Settings, then Business integrations, find Occanovo and remove it. Facebook then withdraws every permission it gave.

Leads that already arrived stay in your workspace as your customer records, like any other enquiry. You can delete them there, or delete your whole account, which removes your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

If you filled in a lead form

The business whose ad you answered decides what happens to your details, because they are its customer records. Ask that business first.

You can also email privacy@occanovo.com with the name of the business and the email or phone number you gave. We will pass your request to the business, or delete the details ourselves where we are able to, and reply within one month.
